The Greek philosopher, Pythagarus, believed that “the world is built on the power of numbers”. Much of his work on numbers and mathematics is one of the aspects for our own understanding of them today.

Throughout history since his work, numbers have formed the basis of all scientific exploration, as well as an essential component in divination and magic, the two arts are never far apart!

The reliance on the concept that the universe is composed of mathematical patterns and that individual numbers express unique vibrations within the universe is the fundamental notion behind numerology.

Numerology applies this knowledge and the assignation of characteristics to numbers, which took place throughout history, to enable us to attain a deeper understanding of ourselves. Numbers are seen as vibrational expressions and by reducing all things to a number we can determine personality characteristics, traits, even destinies from a name, word, birthdate, birthplace or time of year.
